Die von shin und akiya warn iirc so.. äh.. streetlife, normal halt. Shin schaut ungeschminkt so knuffig aus und akiya lachend.. *-*
Isshi ganz ausgefallen mit schlangenhaut.. XD

"Core", das neue Album von Kagrra, wird über Rock Identity und CLJ Records in Deutschland verkauft werden. Ab dem 28. Februar 2008 wird die CD/DVD "Core" als Limited Edition in Europa erhältlich sein.

Ein sehr ruhiges Lied mit einer sehr schlichten PV. Nett zum nebenbei hören, aber nichts besonderes

Wundert mich, dass es noch nicht gepostet wurde obwohl sie wirklich 'ne gute Band sind (sollte sie echt öfters hören):

Es war eine schreckliche Überraschung, die sowohl Fans als auch die Band vor dem geplanten Konzert in Nagano ereilt hat: Isshi hat plötzlich und ohne ersichtlichen Grund seine Stimme verloren, dies wurde kürzlich auf der Homepage der Band bekannt gegeben. Das Konzert wurde deshalb abgesagt, soll aber nachgeholt werden.

Im Moment befindet sich der Sänger von Kagrra, in Tokyo in medizinischer Behandlung. Es ist noch nicht bekannt, welche Ursache für den Stimmverlust verantwortlich gemacht werden kann.

Wir wünschen Isshi an dieser Stelle gute Besserung und hoffen, dass wir die Band bald wieder in voller Gesundheit auf der Bühne sehen können.

Hoffen wir mal, dass das nicht umgeht mit Stimmbänderproblemen, reicht ja schon, dass D'espairsRay's HIZUMI auch schon Probleme in die Richtung hat. >.<

Kagrra, to Cease Activities (<-link)


The label PS COMPANY has announced that Kagrra, will cease activities. Instead of using the word 'disbanded,' the band members have expressed the wish to call it a 'demise' instead.

The band made this decision after multiple discussions and thank everyone that has supported and encouraged them during their ten-year career.

Kagrra, will say goodbye to their fans with a CD release and tour. The album Hyakkikenran will come out on February 2nd. Their last tour will start on February 13th and the final concert will take place on March 3rd at the C.C. Lemon Hall in Tokyo.

Kagrra, the band formed on June 3rd 2000, has decided to cease their activity after the live concert in Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall on March 3rd, 2011. Thank you for supporting the band for 10 years long. The members would like to express their sincere gratitude from the bottom of their hearts.
Meanwhile, the new album "HYAKKI KENRAN" will be released on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011, and the nation-wide tour "ANGYA HYAKKI YAKO ~YOU~" will start on February 13th, 2011. Their last activity, the live in Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 will be titled "SHUEN ~SAKURA MAICHIRU ANO OKA DE~".

Although there is little time left, please keep your support up for the band until the very end.

Former Kagrra, Member Isshi Passes Away

On July 25th, it has been announced on the official homepage of Isshi's solo project "shiki project", that the vocalist has been found dead in his home on July 18th 2011. While further details are unclear, it has been revealed that his funeral has already taken place to respect the wish of privacy from his relatives.

He had scheduled two dinner show events for the end of July, which will now be changed to mourning events for him.

After the last performance of Kagrra, on March 3rd this year, he had announced his solo project and a single release for September 9th 2011.

We herewith express our deepest condolence to family, friends and fans alike.

Isshi was born on December 7, 1978 in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, well-known because of its beautiful castle. His parents really liked music, so it accompanied him since early childhood. Inspired by artists like ANZENCHITAI or Masashi Sada, he began composing in college. At first he wanted to learn to play a musical instrument – he tried the guitar, bass, drums and even keyboard. However, he didn’t do well and he decided to became a vocalist instead. Singing fascinated him because "you can’t be bad or good at it, you can only be eccentric or original.” At the age of twenty, he founded a band with Izumi and Nao, which they called CROW. Soon after, the new band signed with the KEY PARTY label.

Since then, the band's career, as well as its vocalist, began to develop. In 2000, the band signed to PS COMPANY and changed their name to Kagrra - after going major they added a comma to it - which better conveyed their style called "Neo Japanesque.” This term referred to the word "wa," which meant Japanese aesthetics and traditional customs which were derived from former traditions and after transformations survived till the present day. The band expressed it both visually and musically. For example, the musicians performed in costumes modelled on kimonos and they included traditional instruments like the koto in their music. However, to Isshi, "wa” simply meant being Japanese and being proud of being Japanese.

Isshi's Shiki- Project to Release Full Album of Unreleased Tracks in December

On July 18th, former Kagrra, Vocalist had passed away, and while his single release of "Rashazakura " had been realized in September, many fans believed it would be the last record of his.

However, it has now been announced on the official Shiki-Project homepage, that an album with all unreleased tracks will be released on December 7th, which is also Isshi's Birthday. Originally, the release had been planned for November 2nd, which is the "Day of Good Demons". However, due to the production circumstances, the date has been finalized for the 7th a month later.

Until the very last moment, Isshi had been working on the songs and his friends and fellow musicians have been taking the feelings of his fans to heart, completing the album eventually.
Some of the songs have previously been played at the events held prior to Isshi's death, yet all of them have never been official released.
